Chāo Cháo Celebrates Chinese New Year With Luscious Food And Drink Menus

Embracing the upcoming year of the Tiger, Chāo Cháo will feature a seven-course menu and arrays of enticing cocktail selections in its specially-decorated venue.

Starting from 25 January to 15 February, Chāo Cháo will set the mood of its guests for a fruitful beginning, starting with wishing ribbons for diners to write their wishes and intentions for the year to come.

To mark the jubilant Chinese New Year occasion, Chāo Cháo’s talented Head Chef Chong and his dedicated culinary team have also prepared a luscious seven-course menu starting with the must-have Blossom Salmon Yu Sheng, also known as ‘The Prosperity Toss’, which is set to please the guests with colourful presentation and joyful tradition of inviting good luck. The following six courses are a feast of delectable flavours; including Fortune dim sum trio, steamed silver cod with morel mushroom, prosperity yellow chicken, braised baby Chinese cabbage and wok-fried glutinous rice with mushroom.

Enhancing the whole experience with a mixology touch, two exquisite cocktails are also specially prepared for the occasion; namely, Lǎohǔ Fizz which is a scotch-based drink and Hunter’s Hurricane, the venue’s take on restoring ‘Hurricane’ dark rum-based classic cocktail. Special music programmes are in place through the length of the festivities, with three different DJs set to spin their tunes on 31 January; bidding farewell to the Year of the Fox on the venue’s rooftop area, and a special Lion Dance on Chinese New Year Day performing on both floors.
