Set amongst the homey surroundings of a century-old teak joglo, Biku’s consistency in serving eclectic high-tea experiences and delectable dishes has made it one of the most sought-out dining destinations in south Bali.
Open all day, it boasts a breezy indoors and an outdoor space just beside the main building, it is a great spot for family or friends to gather and have a wonderful afternoon tea with delicious homemade cakes and a wide array of quality teas from China, India and Indonesia. The interior is a fine blend of rustic style with indigenous luxury; think wooden pillars, classic chandeliers and reddish brown furniture for that immaculate vintage vibe.
Renowned desserts aside (the legendary carrot cake!), Biku actually serves a very diverse variety of dishes; from Indonesian-inspired Nasi Campur to a variety of scrumptious burgers. As an upscale tea-house, one of the must-tries is the Traditional Afternoon Tea delight.
This classy high tea package can cater up to four people and consists of a wonderful selection of homemade pastries, enjoyed with a choice of Biku Teas, including the Limited Edition variant for an extra fee. Indulge in a quality me-time moment with Biku’s soothing Earl Grey tea, served warm in a pot, and an array of delectable light-bites; from mini spinach quiche, finger sandwiches, warm scones and a selection of sweet treats.
Another dish that left a great impression is The Cajun Supreme Chicken Burger, which consists of an enormous spiced fried chicken patty, served between two soft buns with avocado, rocket leaves, tomato slice, crispy bacon and creamy homemade Cajun mayo. The generous portion will surely satiate your hunger for the rest of the day. To accompany your memorable feast, Biku serves a selection of signature Mocktail Special refreshers, such as Biku Thai Mango; a creamy delight made from a blend of mango juice, coconut milk, honey with fresh diced mango on top.
