Fabulous Four

Chef Profile1

The Legian Bali is back with another round of its famed “Four Hands” dinner on 3rd March. This time the resort’s Executive Chef Luke MacLeod will be back with New Zealand-born Philip Johnson, who has honed his culinary skills in London, England, and Brisbane, Australia, other than in his own hometown. Luke has an impressive resume across France and Asia, including working for two Michelin-starred Restaurant Senderens in Paris, and three Michelin-starred Le Pres d’Eugenie les Bains in South-West France.

Philip Johnson

Meanwhile, Philip has achieved some coveted recognition, including the 1997 Remy Martin Cognag/Australian Gourmet Traveller Restaurant of the Year Award. Furthermore, Philip is also personally involved in various charities – the Starlight Children’s Foundation, and the Leukaemia Foundation of Australia. With Philip’s talent and heart, and Luke’s knack for making culinary magic with locally sourced fresh ingredients, diners can expect a fine evening of wine and dine at The Restaurant at The Legian Bali.
