The St. Regis Bali Resort is re-launching Dulang with a new concept that focuses solely on authentic Balinese dining.
Nestled in the beautiful gardens of The St. Regis Bali Resort, Dulang has re-emerged with a new concept. Named after the Balinese royal plate, Dulang is now offering guests a chance to be treated like royalty while dining on refined authentic Balinese dishes.
Dulang, a dinner-only restaurant, invites guests to embark on a traditional Balinese journey in an enchanting al fresco setting while sampling the famed Balinese Rijsttafel that was inspired by royal feasts. With this new concept, Dulang’s whole menu showcases the very best of Balinese cuisine served on traditional royal plates.
To create a more authentic experience, every guest receives a Loloh Cemcem welcome drink, a type of Indonesian elixir made using indigenous herbs from a beloved family recipe. This is followed by a Balinese greeting where a frangipani will be placed above the ear as a way of showing Dulang’s warm welcome.
Once seated, guests will be treated to a series of rituals that will stimulate the senses. A Balinese hand-washing ritual will be performed before eating, and diners are serenaded by Rindik, traditional Balinese bamboo music, accompanied by talented dancers performing traditional Balinese dances. End the night with an array of original Balinese desserts while sipping on the world’s most expensive coffee, Kopi Luwak.
