Opening late last year, Guccio Ristorante by Chef Marco has taken Singapore’s intimate fine-dining scene by storm with its heartfelt authentic Italian cuisine created in a hideaway on Gemmill Lane.
Inspired by memories of a childhood in the southern regions of Sicily and Calabria and the culinary influence of his grandmother, the dishes Chef Marco Guccio creates at Guccio Ristorante are authentically Mediterranean and, although meat does feature, the menus are heavily biased towards seafood.
With a wonderful ambience, the 40-seater restaurant has all the ingredients needed to create an authentic Italian experience. From the simple signage to the materials used for the floors, furniture and tableware, to the wine list and cuisine, Guccio is completely Italian.
Like all great chefs, Marco is not one to rest on his laurels and the menu is already evolving. With new seasonal dishes just added, it’s a fabulous time to meander down Gemmill Lane and dine in one of Singapore’s best kept secrets. The restaurant is open from Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner and on Saturday for dinner only.
