The Iron Fairies Bali Now Open in Seminyak

The Iron Fairies Bali Now Open in Seminyak

If you haven’t been since their opening on 29 November 2023, the new nightlife venue in Petitenget is definitely worth the visit.

If there was already enough among Bali’s vibrant nightlife to keep you entertained, think again. So proud to debut on the magical island for the first time, The Iron Fairies is a highly-touted nightlife destination known for its visually stunning experiences and storied themes, and has collaborated with nightlife and hospitality group Boutique Bars, as well as design visionary Ashley Sutton to compete with the extensive array of after-hours choices in Bali.

With pre-existing locations in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, The Iron Fairies is no stranger to captivating audiences with their top-tier mixology and diverse selection of music, and is already fitting right in on the bustling main street of Petitenget. Spanning two stories, The Iron Fairies Bali encapsulates raw iron, timber and leather elements and features authentic mining machinery throughout. The extraordinary craftsmanship brings a timeless and enchanting energy that isn’t easily found within such comfortable settings.

A nightly mixture of entertainment is to be expected at The Iron Fairies Bali, with a rotating combination of R&B, African, Hip Hop and electronic music taking centre stage. Nightly entertainment from West African resident band, Sankofa, can be found from 8pm to 11pm on any given evening, followed by renowned international resident DJ Willy Monfret, who has performed in top clubs in Miami, Ibiza, and around the world. The space provided to guests is nothing to scoff at, either, with space to host 500 people and three bars between the two levels. A collection of VIP areas and bars overlook to main dance floor, with exclusive bottle service privileges available to the special guests in these sections.

Ashley Sutton, Australian miner turned gifted designer and the brains behind Bali’s newest nightlife venue had this to say about the project;

“The Iron Fairies Bali is a full-working fairy factory. The furnaces are located on the ground floor and double as VIP rooms. All the iron ore is melted in the furnaces and then crafted to produce iron fairies and patrons will see hundreds of thousands of fairies all around the venue mainly on the conveyor belts and working tables. Over the years the fairies have taken over the building and created little fairy dwellings throughout the venue. The design was based on a location in the underground mine. Every part of this venue is handmade and took thousands of hours from hundreds of craftsmen to complete, right down to each hand-made iron fairy.”
