COMO Uma Ubud will bring something special to the table this May, hosting a relaxed evening of Italian flavours and Balinese charm. On Friday, 30 May 2025, as part of Ubud Food Festival, Chef Alessandro D’Amico of Amici Bali will take over Uma Cucina for a one-night-only dining experience. There, guests can enjoy a four-course set menu or choose from à la carte highlights, each dish rooted in tradition yet touched with a contemporary flair.
With his culinary journey shaped by the shores of Sicily, Chef D’Amico brings an honest approach to Italian cooking, where quality ingredients and heartfelt stories take centre stage. The evening begins with a classic aperitivo moment, setting a relaxed tone before the feast unfolds.
Highlights from the menu include Uovo 62° e Tartufo—a rich combination of slow-cooked egg, Pecorino cream, spinach and Italian truffle—and Ravioli alla Vaccinara, filled with slow-braised Wagyu oxtail and finished with Taleggio cream. The main course shines with Filetto di Barramundi, bringing fresh barramundi, Pecorino Romano and saffron together. For a sweet ending, Spuma al Cioccolato layers salted caramel gelato with dark chocolate foam for a comforting yet elegant finish. À la carte options offer additional dishes such as Vitello Tonnato, Tagliatelle Cozze e Vongole, and the Wagyu Tokusen Ribeye. Carefully selected wine pairings will complete the experience.
Seats are limited to 60 guests, with the set menu priced at IDR 700,000++ per person. Early reservations are recommended.
