Bringing together two distinctive cultures, FIRE at W Bali – Seminyak collaborates with KOHAKU for a special EMBER Sunday brunch.
Found within the expansive grounds of W Bali – Seminyak, FIRE is the resort’s signature grill restaurant that takes its inspiration from the mesmerising Kecak dance. Highlighting the true Balinese flavours in its dishes, diners are treated to a smorgasbord of choices ranging from fresh seafood to premium cuts of meat.
Being the island’s hottest dining destination, the restaurant hosts a special Sunday brunch that is available on the first Sunday of each month. Aiming to bring new tastes to discerning palates, FIRE is collaborating with KOHAKU, an artisanal Japanese handcrafted dessert brand that specialises in confectionery pieces crafted using traditional techniques.
Happening on 3 September 2023, this special edition of EMBER by FIRE will take diners on a degustation journey with a menu that has been specially designed to take your dining experience to a new level. This brunch tradition offers à la carte dishes with available cocktail and wine pairings. The menu is divided into several sections, beginning with starters from the fresh bakery section and continuing with dishes like salmon carpaccio, locally caught tuna that has been cured in kaffir lime, and foie gras, among others.
Cleanse your palate with artisanal confectionery items from KOHAKU for a sweet finish that keeps the traditional handcrafted dessert techniques alive. Guests can expect the best-selling desserts from KOHAKU, including the iconic Mont Blanc dessert and selections from the Kohakuto tasting set. In this special edition, KOHAKU will also serve its organic tea, which is grown organically on a modest farm in Bali, on the high flank of the revered Mount Batukaru.
