With the highest standards of whisky craftsmanship, The Dalmore held an intimate tasting session for the movers and shakers of Jakarta.

A legendary whisky with depth and finesse, The Dalmore has set the standards in multi-cask maturation. Making its presence known in Indonesia’s lifestyle industry, Tri Berliana Beverindo, the brand’s licensed distributor in Indonesia, held intimate masterclasses and whisky pairing dinners on 30 May and 4 June 2022 at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta and The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place.

The Dalmore Decades

During the events, both Tri Berliana Beverindo and The Dalmore welcomed whisky enthusiasts and the city’s distinguished gourmands to join a private banquet-style gastronomical evening. George Schulz, Asia’s Resident Whisky Expert of The Dalmore, flew into town to bring his expertise to the presentation, giving the audience a tantalising and unique experience. Attended by the shakers and movers of the food and beverage industry in Jakarta, an eight-course dinner served to highlight The Dalmore’s exquisite range of whiskies.

In addition to the whisky tastings and dinners, a special set of The Dalmore Decades was showcased to the delights of the attendees. Being the only set of The Dalmore Decades belonging to a private collector in Indonesia, the four-set bottle was sold at USD1.124.000.

Also, during the event, guests learnt more about the single malt whisky brand’s Royal Heritage and its age-old sacred approach to multi-cask maturation. The Dalmore Single Malt whisky has a rich taste, spicy and is characterised by the distinctive character of chocolate and orange. The character of this whisky came from a 30-year old storage barrel of Sherry Matusalem Oloroso.
