The ever adventurous and fun-loving Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach has recently opened its newest restaurant, Salon Bali. This intimate venue has a sophisticated, chic interior with cream walls, timber and leather, complemented by framed sepia art all over the walls. Nooks and crannies offer a degree of privacy at the tables and the sense of dining in a grand private home.
The open kitchen is helmed by Executive Chef Nic Philip, who leads his team to create authentic Indonesian dishes with contemporary, imaginative flair. Cooked with iron woks, a Josper oven, coffee wood and charcoal, the refined, seasonal menu offers traditional flavours in appetising snacks, substantial main courses and delicious desserts. Everything is made in-house, including the pickles and condiments.
Championing the island’s small growers and bespoke producers, the use of indigenous produce in both the food and drinks brings plenty of delightful surprises to Salon Bali’s gourmand diners. The high-end modern Indonesian dishes are offered in a compact à la carte menu plus two set menus that take the guesswork out of the meal. Optional drinks pairings are available.
