Salt Grill’s 2nd Anniversary Gala Dinner

At Altitude on 29th May, 2015, Salt Grill by Luke Mangan celebrated its 2nd anniversary by inviting loyal patrons and prestigious guests to a grand gala dinner consisting of Salt Grill signature dishes prepared by Executive Chef Marjon Olguera himself.

The exquisite four-course treat included coconut broth with Balmain spice and prawn toast and a Sydney crab omelette, enoki mushroom and herb salad in miso mustard broth for starters, and a delicious char-grill tenderloin with spiced pumpkin puree, macadamia, date, pickled orange, asparagus and Madeira sauce, while liquorice parfait and lime served as wonderful desserts. Accompanied by Penfolds fine wine, the evening’s culinary festivities were a huge success.

Esteemed guests of Jakarta’s expat community, including staff of the Australian Embassy, rubbed shoulders as they enjoyed the delicacy of sashimi kingfish with ginger, eschalot and goat feta. Sober Band livened up the evening even more by providing cool tunes all night.
