Moving up the buffet selection is a BBQ corner – the perfect place not just for meat lovers – where side-by-side suckling pig, roast lamb pancetta roll, beef spare ribs and roast chicken stuffed with ham, seasonal grilled vegetables and seafood can be found.
“Ocean Bounties” is the place for a generous selection of fresh seafood, which includes Boston lobster, Fanny Bay oysters, crab’s legs and smoked fish. Moreover, diners can order a choice of eggs and main bites from the kitchen, such as poached eggs with truffle espuma and pan-fried wagyu beef cheek with potato puree, showcasing WHISK’s culinary flair. There is also the “Flour Power” bread corner that serves a whole range of creative, home-baked breads and the Desserts Room filled with artistic pastries and a selection of premium ice-cream.
Designed by Charles Allem, the restaurant showcases an environment of many spaces. Entering the restaurant, guests may have a hard time deciding where they should sit. The mezzanine area, for example, provides a birds-eye view of the galaxy of suspended glass orbs, while from the dining lounge guests will feel relaxed in a casual seating atmosphere. But it’s the adjoining outdoor lounge Vibes, with verdant greenery and comfortable seating, where WHISK’s brunch tastes best.
