E: What are your responsibilities?
A: As Country Manager – Indonesia, my role revolves around leading commercial operations, driving brand development and fostering strategic growth in the local market. This includes overseeing commercial performance, managing key accounts and implementing distribution strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.

A significant part of my work is centred on brand development. Building strong relationships with distributors, retailers and on-trade partners is another key aspect of my role, ensuring our brands have a seamless route-to-market. Additionally, I monitor market trends, competitor activities and regulatory changes to adapt strategies proactively. Ultimately, my responsibility is to ensure Campari Group maintains a sustainable and profitable presence in Indonesia while thriving in a competitive landscape.

E: What does a typical day look like for you?
A: No two days are the same, but my workdays are a blend of strategy and action. I begin by analysing market data and sales reports to assess performance, identify opportunities and address challenges. Staying informed about emerging trends and consumer behaviour is essential, so I dedicate time to researching the latest market insights and competitor activities.

I often visit on-trade and off-trade outlets to connect with partners, understand their needs and ensure our brands are well-represented. These visits also give me valuable firsthand insight into customer preferences and market dynamics.

Collaboration is another big part of my day. I work closely with the team on brand campaigns, activations, and promotions, ensuring they align with our goals and engage the audience effectively. And of course, I take great pride in sharing the rich heritage of Campari Group with customers and stakeholders, all while promoting the responsible enjoyment of our high-quality drinks.

E: What are your best attributes?
A: I’d say my best attributes are shaped by the essence of rock ‘n’ roll—bold, passionate and unapologetically authentic. Like the improvisational nature of a live performance, I approach challenges with agility, adapting quickly to changes and staying ahead of the curve. This mindset enables me to confidently identify and seize opportunities in a fast-paced market.

E: Are you a team player or a team leader?
A: A great leader knows when to step back and let a team member take charge. Leadership is about inspiring others to lead and empowering them to excel in their roles.

E: Who has been the most influential figure in your career?
A: My father. Every achievement I’ve attained and the values I live by have been shaped by his wisdom, guidance and unwavering belief in me.

E: What’s one special thing about your product or brand?
A: Our products have the remarkable ability to create unforgettable moments. It’s not just about the drink—it’s about the experiences they inspire. Whether celebrating milestones, bringing people together or elevating everyday moments, our brand represents more than a beverage. It’s a lifestyle, a culture and a legacy of quality that embodies joy, sophistication and responsible enjoyment.

E: How do you unwind?
A: Music is my go-to outlet. As a former rock band member, I love picking up my guitar and turning ideas into songs. Experimenting with sounds, recording tracks and crafting melodies allows me to channel my energy creatively while finding a sense of calm and fulfilment. Cooking is another way I unwind. Experimenting with flavours and creating something delicious feels both rewarding and therapeutic.

E: If you could take anyone—dead or alive—to dinner, who would it be?
A: My friends and colleagues already know the answer to this one—Song Hyekyo, my forever crush.
