Delicious Festivities at Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort

This February, Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort brings Chinese New Year festivities in the form of special dining offers and more. The hotel’s MoonLite Kitchen and Bar showcases Chinese culinary favourites from 1st to 28th February, with special traditional lion dance performances by a community troupe at sunset on 4th February and the morning of 5th February.

The highlight of the Lunar New Year menu is the yee shang, Cantonese raw fish salad made with Tasmanian salmon tossed with shredded vegetables, sauces and condiments. This dish gets a bit theatrical as it needs to be tossed in dramatic fashion – the higher the toss, the better prosperity gained in the New Year.

The rest of the menu consists house-speciality chicken red date soup, mixed BBQ platter, beef short ribs with black pepper, Thai-style whole fired snapper, cashew chicken with capsicum and soy-garlic sauce, egg noodles with chicken, pork and prawn dumplings, and more.

After the Chinese New Year festivities, Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort is ready to cater to those who are looking to kindle the romance this Valentine’s Day. MoonLite Kitchen and Bar offers an Asian four-course set menu, comprising spicy chicken wonton cups, minced shrimp and pork wrap, braised pork belly and more.

Meanwhile, the hotel’s other restaurant, S.O.S, also offers a four-course set menu but with a more international focus. Get ready to savour seared sea scallops and fresh oysters, wild mushroom soup, a choice of grilled fillet of beet or seared salmon, and orange mascarpone with cherry glaze, raspberry coulis and white meringue.

Both MoonLite Kitchen and Bar and S.O.S boasts scenic views of the beach, perfect for a sunset cocktail or two before dinner, so why not make your reservations now.
