The signature bar at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta is sultry and secluded, ensconced on the hotel’s ground floor. For one night only, on 5th October to be exact, Nautilus Bar will welcome head mixologist of Hong Kong’s Stockton, the highly talented Suraj Gurung. Hailing from Nepal, Suraj is a passionate rum enthusiast known for his quirky cocktail creations, each one of which aims to tell a story.
One of his brilliant creations is the Minds Undone, a cocktail series paying homage to the greatest writers of our time, like F. Scott Fitzgerald, Oscar Wilde and Ernest Hemingway – winning Stockton many accolades, including #11 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2018. Stockton itself has gained recognition as a go-to afterhours drink destination, set as it is on the charming Wyndham Street in Hong Kong. The bar takeover at Nautilus Bar will start at 7pm and see Suraj showing off his skills and telling the gripping story behind each drink.
