It’s rare that you get the opportunity to indulge in the finest things in life while at the same time contributing to a great cause. However that is exactly the opportunity epicureans in Southeast Asia will have on February 21st, when a very special dinner will take place at Singapore’s renowned Restaurant ANDRE featuring Guest Chef Joan Roca.

Roca is the Head Chef of El Celler de Can Roca, which took the number one spot on S. Pellegrino’s list of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2013, a rank earned through the votes of the world’s top chefs, restaurateurs, gourmands and food critics. Roca runs El Celler de Can Roca with his two brothers, and they have been producing avant-garde food, which mixes the best in modern gastronomy with traditional Catalan cuisine and flavours, since 1986.
In conjunction with the announcement of S. Pellegrino’s list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, Chef Andre Chiang, one of the top ranked chefs in the region, will welcome Roca to his restaurant for a once-in-a-lifetime meal. The two chefs will collaborate on an 8-course degustation menu blending Chiang’s unique “octaphilosophy” approach to dining with Roca’s cutting edge Catalan cuisine.

This sure-to-be sublime dinner is being done for the best of reasons: the proceeds from the event, which they have dubbed “4 Hands For A Good Cause,” will be donated to the Red Cross in support of the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

The “4 Hands For a Good Cause” Dinner takes place on Feb. 21 and the price is SGD 980++ per person (exclusive of wine pairing). For reservations please call +65 6534 8880 or email
