Exploring Cultures Through Cuisine at Hotel Tentrem Jakarta

Hotel Tentrem Jakarta invites guests to savour diverse flavours and stories, celebrating the art of dining through its signature culinary experiences.

Hotel Tentrem Jakarta recently hosted an exclusive event, Culinary Journey Through Cultures, offering guests an immersive dining experience. Each course highlighted the unique flavours and stories of the hotel’s signature restaurants, adding charm and character to every dish. Guests were warmly welcomed into a series of elegant dining spaces, each offering a unique take on global cuisine with a special focus on Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage.

The journey began at Populico, an American bistro on the first floor, with an exceptional Barista Takeover by Ega Riandi, the 2024 Indonesia Coffee Art Battle winner. Guests were served three signature drinks, perfectly paired with sweet treats like Onde-Onde Pandan Gelato and Truffle Choux, crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Aditya Nugroho.

Next, LIN 林 Chinese Restaurant on the second floor offered a taste of traditional Chinese flavours led by Chef Albert Liew Ban Foh. The experience included a tea tasting and calligraphy workshop, followed by delectable dishes like Peking Duck and Salted Egg Crispy Fish Skin.

The journey concluded at Canella, Hotel Tentrem’s newly opened Italian restaurant, where live cooking by Chef Ivan Leonard and Sous Chef Ruly Mandala showcased Italian dishes with flair.
