For Jakarta’s Martini lovers,
“The Dharmawangsa Chocolate Martini” is the first thing that pops to mind when asked about the best chocolate martini in town. The famous cocktail has created a city-wide word-of-mouth hype since the hotel opened; a hype that still holds strong today. Apart from its perfect balance of chocolate and alcohol, the famous drink is a must-try thanks to the way it is served. The mixologist brings all of the ingredients to the guests’ table and makes the drink from scratch – complete with outstanding techniques and educational breaks.
Starting with a generous sprinkling of finely grated Hershey’s chocolate that gets melted into a creamy consistency, the mixologist coats the Martini glass with this chocolate ganache about 1.5cm from the rim. He then pours Premium Vodka and Crème de Cacao White into the cocktail shaker, fills it with ice and stirs gently. When the moment is right, the drink is poured into the chocolate-dipped Martini glass, finished with a Hershey’s chocolate kiss.
Ingredients:
60ml Premium Vodka
52,5ml Crème de Cacao White
Melted Hershey’s Chocolate Ganache
1 Hershey’s Chocolate Kiss
To Mix:
1. Rim the Martini glass with chocolate ganache about 1,5 cm from the glass’ rim.
2. Mix the vodka and crème de cacao in a cocktail shaker and stir over lots of ice.
3. Pour into the chocolate-rimmed Martini glass.
4. Drop in 1 chocolate kiss.
