THE HOT LIST – BEST RESTAURANTS IN SENOPATI

Pantja

Pantja means ‘five’ in Sanskrit, reflecting the establishment’s focus on five key elements: food, drink, music, hospitality and design. Located near Jakarta’s central business district, the restaurant embraces a farm-to-table philosophy, building strong relationships with local farms. This approach extends to their cocktail menu like margarita infused with curry leaf, a kingston negroni featuring pandan or the low-alcohol bamboo cooler, crafted with oolong tea cordial and lime juice to add a refreshing twist to the traditionally stirred cocktail.

The design of Pantja is equally striking. From its bold exterior to the impressive brick archway that defines the main dining area, the space commands attention. The long, central bar blends a mix of materials, creating a sense of movement and energy.

Le Quartier

Le Quartier is one of the famous French restaurants in the Senopati area. With its cosy, home-like atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to visit at any time of day, whether for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. One standout dish is the Escargot, where snails are cooked in aromatic, buttery garlic. Served on a bed of mushrooms, it adds a delightful chewy texture and a rich, umami flavour.

One ingredient can be ordered separately: the Summer Truffle mushrooms. They are offered at five grams, and guests can add them to any dish on the Le Quartier menu.

Not only that, the desserts are also quite varied. There is crêpe Suzette with a sweet and tangy mandarin orange jam that is refreshing. Then, there is fondant au chocolat, which is a soft molten chocolate cake with a sweet and slightly bitter chocolate filling that is aromatic.
