28 HongKong Street is Singapore’s legendary prohibition-style bar that has built itself a lasting legacy as the number one bar in Asia after being crowned at the Asia’s Best Bars awards in both 2015 and 2016 for its innovative and totally unique creations. The driving force behind 28 HongKong Street’s respectable pedigree is multifaceted bar maestro, Joe Alessandroni. A veteran bartender from San Francisco, Joe leads menu development and staff training in his role as Creative Director for 28 HongKong Street. He not only looks after this award-winning bar, but also works on other team projects, including Crackerjack and the Proof Flat, both in Singapore. His signature cocktail, the Five Foot Assassin, is a punchy concoction that doesn’t take itself too seriously, yet still manages to tick all of the world-class mixology boxes with homemade ingredients, impeccable flavour fusions and a sublime presentation.

“An homage to rapper Phife Dawg of a Tribe Called Quest, the Five Foot Assassin is a playful riff on a frozen daiquiri that captures the flavours of Trinidad.”
