Ascott Menteng Jakarta has officially launched A.RA.SA Restaurant & Bar, a modern dining destination that brings together vibrant flavours, stylish design and culinary creativity. The new venue is designed to blend Indonesian heritage with international influences.
The name A.RA.SA, derived from the Indonesian word ‘rasa’ meaning taste, reflects the restaurant’s commitment to celebrating flavour. Its contemporary menu is built around locally sourced ingredients and innovative presentations, creating dishes that are rooted in tradition while appealing to a global palate.
Located on the mezzanine floor of Ascott Menteng Jakarta, the restaurant combines sleek, modern interiors with subtle nods to Jakarta’s cultural richness. The design aims to balance contemporary sophistication with a sense of local identity, making it a versatile setting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
The opening also marks the arrival of Executive Chef Alfrantra Medantara, who brings over 15 years of experience in luxury hotels and fine dining both in Indonesia and abroad.
