Li Feng at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta is proud to launch its new dishes created by its Michelin-starred chef.
Celebrating the third anniversary of the famed Cantonese restaurant in Jakarta, Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta held a special occasion dedicated solely to fine-food connoisseurs. From 27 to 31 July, guests at Li Feng were treated to a new selection of dishes created by chef Fei from Jiang, a two Michelin-starred restaurant in Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou.
Named one of the best young chefs in China, chef Fei is known to create stunning delicacies with a surprising modern twist. In 2018, his signature restaurant Jiang was awarded with a Michelin star, and repeated this success the following year, making it the first restaurant in Guangzhou to receive Michelin stars two years in a row.
Exclusively for Li Feng at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta, chef Fei is offering an array of delectable Cantonese dishes that include marinated lotus root with glutinous rice, xiao shan preserved celery, cherry truss tomato with homemade wild plum syrup, steamed grouper with dried lily flower and black fungus and the chef’s signature wagyu beef shank. For a satisfying meal, a refreshing mango sago is added for dessert.
The new dishes at Li Feng are available for lunch and dinner starting from August.
