Every dining experience at Seasalt begins with the Seasalt Ritual, where diners are served a spectacular centrepiece that is reminiscent of the beach, with aesthetics like sand, shells and coral. Inside the work-of-art is the unique mackerel butter and mayo appetiser, enhanced with a hint of Japanese umami flavour, wrapped in spinach and seaweed, baked within a mound of sea salt. This delectable gem goes perfectly with the homemade sourdough that will get you amped up for the rest of the feast. 

Just like the rest of Alila brand, Seasalt is also committed to implementing sustainability and a zero-waste approach, evident from the restaurant’s pledge to only use seafood that is wild-caught and sustainably harvested from the waters around Indonesia. Furthermore, the restaurant works closely with local fishermen to support the community, as well as sourcing organic sea salt from Kusamba area in Bali, known for using an ancient traditional method to farm the salt.
