Particular non-pasta and pizza favourites include the aragosta grigliata con verdurine al prezzemolo, which is a gorgeous grilled local lobster with sautéed mixed vegetables and lemon sabayon; the hearty Ossobucco alla Milanese, an Italian-style red wine-braised veal shank that has a gorgeous rich gravy simply oozing into the saffron risotto; and the very Mediterranean black ravioli with baby calamari stew.
Pasta fans can choose their favourite shape and sauce, or go for one of the pasta dishes, including the completely fail-safe option of classic rich beef lasagne.

Prego offers an array of original pizza combinations. We tend to favour the slightly unusual broccoli e salsiccia pizza of tomato, mozzarella, garlic broccoli and Italian sausage on its smoky thin pizza base, or go for the fully loaded calzone bomba stuffed with turkey ham, zucchini, artichoke, basil, pesto sauce, tomato and mozzarella, which is more than a meal just by itself.
