NIKUZEN

Chateaubriand Rose Cutlet Sandwich

Situated on the 13th floor of Mori Tower, NIKUZEN offers an omakase experience centred around premium Japanese wagyu and expert grilling techniques. At the helm is Vanne Kuwahara, the brilliant mind behind Tokyo’s acclaimed Yoroniku. Having established a strong reputation with the success of Yoroniku, Kuwahara now brings his culinary philosophy to Jakarta, blending precision, tradition and innovation in every dish.

Guests enter a space where Japanese minimalism meets modern comfort, creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and elegant. The interiors are thoughtfully designed with warm tones and clean lines, setting the stage for a focused dining experience. In addition to exclusive counter seating and a private dining area, NIKUZEN features a stylish bar and an outdoor section, perfect for enjoying Jakarta’s skyline before or after your meal.

Beyond the elegant interior, the restaurant’s omakase menu highlights wagyu sourced directly from Japan’s top suppliers. Each cut is hand-selected and carefully prepared, emphasising the natural flavour and texture of the beef. Diners can expect a progression of dishes that includes silky loin, sirloin ponzu and rich Chateaubriand. A standout item is the Wagyu Sando, which is delicately crisp on the outside and meltingly tender inside.

Another highlight is the truffle Zabuton sukiyaki, a comforting dish filled with rich, layered flavours. For dessert, the kakigori offers a refreshing finish: light, airy shaved ice served on a chilled plate to preserve its texture and balance of sweetness.
