One of the most anticipated newcomers in Bali’s culinary scene, French-born Vincent Nigita has quickly captured the attention of the island’s food aficionados with his eclectic collection of dessert, pastry and confectionery creations. Now, he continues to provide sweet experiences for the masses through Kanvaz Pâttiserie by Vincent Nigita.
Born in Lyon, Vincent already had a strong entrepreneurial gene and possessed incredible work ethics from early on. In 2016, after London and Paris, his thirst for new horizons called him away from enviable circumstances. Ultimately, Vincent fell head over heels with Bali with its rich culture, customs and art. Six years and counting, the island has become his new home away from home, where he has not only expanded his family, but has also opened his first eponymous dessert and pastry boutique.
Stepping into the grounds of Kanvaz Resort Seminyak, it’s hard to ignore the striking retail outlet displaying all of Nigita’s heavenly sweet delicacies in a chic ambience. Nigita’s specialty in creating arrays of classic sweets is strikingly visible through Kanvaz Pâttiserie’s elegant display; variants of macarons, chocolate bonbons, candied fruits, marshmallow, chocolate tablets, biscuits and jams with vibrant colours and tastes are ready to welcome the guests’ eyes and palate simultaneously.
Already becoming the island’s favourite, Vincent Nigita is never short of inspiration. New creations are popping up in the near future. This dessert shop and Afternoon Tea venue should be on everyone’s itinerary when visiting Bali.
