Located on the second floor of InterContinental Jakarta MidPlaza, Scusa Italian Restaurant is celebrating its new-look Sunday brunch. Executive Chef Gianluca from Milan presents authentic Italian cuisine in a way that redefines the custom of socializing around the table amid a relaxed atmosphere.

With a unique concept of “bringing the buffet to your table”, guests just need to sit back, relax and wait for their food to arrive at the table. On top of the antipasti that the staff bring to the table, there are a few stations that serve an assortment of seafood and meat, homemade pasta, pizza, cheeses and dessert. At the meat and seafood, and pasta counters, guests may request the chef to create anything from the available ingredients.

Every guest is welcomed with a Bloody Mary or Spritz paired with fresh oysters as a starter. Generous platters of traditional Italian antipasti are served family style at the table for everyone to share. Guests can also enjoy an array of buffet delicacies are brought to their table. But that’s not all – a full-flavoured menu of authentic dishes, including home-made pastas, seafood, premium meats and regional specialties are served to please the palate.

The open kitchen, wood-burning oven, rotisserie and charcoal grill are the main features of Scusa’s kitchen. Combined with the freshest products and ingredients such as special homemade pasta, guests can taste Italian savouries with different combinations of sumptuous appetizers and mouth-watering desserts. 

Favourite Feature:

One of the favourite antipasti is foie gras terrine served with port wine-blueberry reduction, black winter truffle and toasted brioche, enjoy the bold character of the foie gras and the playful flavour of the wine-blueberry reduction.
