The highly regarded Bar Trigona, housed in Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, has just debuted a new menu. The Colour Me Curious menu, designed by Head Bartender Rohan Matmary, is an exploration of local staples turned into poetic concoctions, where each sip narrates a tale of Malaysia’s rich culinary legacy.

Every cocktail honours the diverse flora and fauna of Malaysia, drawing inspiration from the abundant offerings of nature. From the delicate fragrance of rose apple to the fiery kick of torch ginger, every ingredient is carefully selected to evoke a sense of place and time. However, it is not just about local flavours; there is also the symphony of mixology at work with experiments in barrel ageing, fat-washing, sous vide and sous pression infusions, among other things. Bar Trigona’s highly skilled bartenders go above and beyond with their inventiveness and dedication to crafting flawless concoctions.

Sample colourful libations such as the violet-tinted Iris, a decadently nutty take on the classic White Russian, or the blushing Pastel, a floral concoction that’s easy on the taste buds. In addition to the beautifully crafted cocktails, the journey extends to gourmet bites ranging from Trigona Tropical Caviar and Padron Peppers Bhaji to lobster ramen and coconut flambé.
