Several of Bali’s Marriott properties joined hands on 10th September for a fun charity competition, the Cupcake Cup. Held at The Stones Hotel – Legian Bali, each of the 13 participating hotels was asked to bring 12 cupcakes to be decorated with their own equipment onsite at The Stones Hotel. Three external judges were appointed to evaluate the cupcakes based on colour, theme, creativity, texture and flavour. The resulting cupcakes were a wonder to behold with bright colours and imaginative designs reflecting the Asian Games theme. While all the teams presented impressive designs, the overall winner was Bvlgari Resort Bali, second was The Ritz-Carlton, Bali and third was Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort. Ten of the resulting cupcakes from each hotel were donated to Bali Children Foundation for the children’s morning teatime.
