Villa Air Bali has announced the opening of Bar RASA, a discreet new speakeasy experience designed to elevate the resort’s food and beverage offering and enrich its evening lifestyle. Part of the Bali Goldengate International hospitality portfolio, the launch marks a key moment in Villa Air Bali’s 2025 development strategy, bringing a fresh sense of discovery to the heart of Seminyak.
Hidden within the tranquil grounds of the resort, Bar RASA embraces the essence of a modern speakeasy: quietly exclusive, elegantly understated and intentionally tucked away. Guests are invited to step into an intimate atmosphere where mood, music and craftsmanship come together, offering a refined escape from Seminyak’s lively streets. The space reflects Villa Air Bali’s wider vision of creating immersive, experience-led environments that encourage connection and relaxation.
Bar RASA also represents a new chapter in the resort’s culinary journey. Its debut follows a series of recent enhancements at Villa Air Bali, including refreshed two-bedroom villas, upgraded interiors and a transformed gym, all contributing to a renewed focus on guest engagement and lifestyle-driven hospitality.
According to Roy Suer, Regional Director of Bali Goldengate International, Bar RASA is envisioned as “an intimate and welcoming retreat that brings a new identity to evening culture at Villa Air Bali, offering guests and locals alike a special place to gather, celebrate and unwind.”
The cocktail programme is at the heart of the experience. Each creation draws inspiration from Bali’s vibrant local ingredients and the Ayurvedic philosophy of the six rasas, or tastes. From gentle sweetness to warming spice, every drink is designed to evoke balance, presence and a deeper connection to the island.
