Step into the underground allure of VINYL Speakeasy Bar as it hosts the latest to their acclaimed series, VINYL Bar Takeover Vol. IX. For one night only, the intimate venue welcomes Gabriel Lowe, Co-Founder of Singapore’s celebrated Cat Bite Club as he’s prepared to bring his distinctly daring and flavour-driven approach to mixology with VINYL’s signature sense of intrigue.
Set against the understated elegance of Bandung, VINYL Speakeasy Bar promises a sharp and immersive atmosphere. Perched on the 16th floor of Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar, the venue opened in June 2025 and quickly established itself as a distinct new voice in the city’s evolving nightlife scene.
Far beyond a simple guest shift behind the bar, each edition unfolds as a carefully curated narrative of flavours set against exhilarating music. With the VINYL Bar Takeover series, guests can expect a night filled collaboration and exploration, where cocktails blend together as evocative music makes way for an intimate evening experience.
This time around, Gabriel Lowe brings his technical expertise and global perspective as an international guest bartender from Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025. His residency at VINYL presents Bandung’s cocktail enthusiasts with a rare chance to explore the flavour sensibilities of one of Asia’s leading bars, reimagined within the intimate and carefully curated setting of a modern speakeasy.
Bringing world-class mixology to Bandung in an endeavour to define the space for mixology enthusiasts, VINYL fuses music-inspired cocktails with a curated vinyl soundtrack. Previous collaborations include a takeover by Mason of Seoul’s Alice Cheongdam, also ranked on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025.
Open from Wednesday to Sunday, 6pm to 1am, VINYL has emerged as a magnet for nightlife devotees and creative tastemakers alike. Anchored by Riccardo’s cocktail vision and animated by its ongoing Bar Takeover collaborations with local and international mixologists.
