With Lunar New Year just around the corner, many are gearing up to welcome the Year of the Horse with lavish feasts and accoutrements of red and gold. The scene at InterContinental Bali Resort’s Jimbaran Gardens is no different, as it prepares to welcome guests to Feast of Prosperity on 16 February 2026.
In line with the holiday’s tradition of sharing food, this festive dining experience brings together an extensive buffet, interactive live cooking stations, and Chinese-inspired dishes together for a celebration within an open-air garden ambience. Diners are invited to gather around the table and herald abundance, togetherness, and good fortune for the year ahead.
The dinner begins with a traditional Century Yee Sang Salad, where a medley of fresh salmon, mixed vegetables, nuts, crackers, and sesame oil come together on the plate, tossed together to symbolise prosperity and success. Meanwhile, the buffet promises a fresh salad bar for something light and healthy, as well as a Yum Cha Corner boasting a delectable selection of dim sum classics. Not to be missed are the hearty, succulent meats from the Live Culinary Stations, boasting Peking duck and roasted chicken with a crackling, shiny skin that would work one’s appetite.
