Bali Beach Hotel, The Heritage Collection Celebrates Indonesian Flavours Through Bali Dessert Week: Pâtisserie Artistry.

From sweet to savoury, Bali Dessert Week: Pâtisserie Artistry is set to delight the palates of treat lovers with a unique gastronomic experience that blends classic pâtisserie techniques with the flavours of the Indonesian archipelago.

When Indonesian culinary tradition meets the European continent on the plates at Roso Restaurant, don’t be surprised if one’s taste buds crave for another round. This is what guests will embark on a refined culinary journey with Bali Dessert Week: Pâtisserie Artistry, a limited-time experience available from 3 to 31 July 2026 at Roso Restaurant. Showcasing the artistry of pastry through a distinctly Indonesian lens, the dégustation menu celebrates local ingredients and regional culinary traditions elevated by classic French techniques.

Curated by Pastry Chef Louis Tanuhadi of Indomilk FnB Solutions alongside Executive Pastry Chef Komang Gede Juniartha, the six-course tasting experience highlights a harmonious balance between sweet and savoury creations. Chef Komang, a Bali native, draws inspiration from the island’s diverse landscapes and heritage, transforming familiar flavours into sophisticated pastry expressions.

Among the menu’s standout creations is the Bebek Betutu Brioche, reinterpreting Gianyar’s iconic slow-cooked duck in a buttery brioche, while Jembrana Bedugul combines rich Jembrana chocolate, Bedugul vanilla, strawberry fluid gel, and delicate chocolate craquelin choux. Citrus takes centre stage in Semaga Kintamani, where caramelised tangerine curd, yuzu gel, and crisp meringue pay homage to Bali’s renowned highland orchards. Complementing these are Chef Louis’ contemporary creations, including a nutrient-rich Moringa Gluten-Free Financier, Lemon Raspberry Madeleine, and the savoury Quiche Soto Ayam, inspired by one of Indonesia’s most beloved comfort dishes.

Served with a choice of coffee or tea, the dégustation offers an elegant exploration of Indonesian flavours through modern pâtisserie. Set within the refined ambience of Roso Restaurant, Bali Dessert Week: Pâtisserie Artistry reflects Bali Beach Hotel’s ongoing commitment to celebrating Indonesia’s culinary heritage while embracing innovation, making it a must-try experience for both in-house guests and discerning food enthusiasts visiting Sanur this season.
