What began as an Indonesia-led cocktail celebration in 2025 now expands across Asia, as Disaronno Sour Cocktail Week 2026 brings together bars and cocktail enthusiasts from six markets to celebrate the Italian liqueur’s signature serve.
Indonesia took centre stage in the return of Disaronno Week, as the campaign expanded into Disaronno Sour Cocktail Week 2026, a regional celebration dedicated to the Italian liqueur’s signature serve. Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2025, the initiative took place simultaneously across Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, China, and Japan from 3–9 August.
Launched by Indonesia in 2025, Disaronno Week brought together nearly 100 bars and restaurants across five Indonesian cities, establishing the campaign as one of Disaronno’s most successful regional activations. Its expansion in 2026 saw 136 participating outlets across Indonesia, reflecting the continued enthusiasm of the country’s hospitality community and its growing influence on cocktail culture in Asia.
Throughout the week, participating venues spotlighted the Disaronno Sour through creative serves, bartender-led activations, and special experiences. In Indonesia, the campaign returned to five key cities, connecting established bars, restaurants, bartenders, and cocktail enthusiasts through a nationwide celebration of contemporary cocktail culture.
Adding to the programme, Nathanel Salerno, APAC Brand Ambassador for Disaronno Group, visited Indonesia for a series of guest shifts and industry engagements. Based in Sydney, Salerno had worked across Michelin-starred restaurants and acclaimed cocktail bars in Milan, London, Melbourne, and Sydney before joining ILLVA Saronno, now known as Disaronno Group, in 2023.
Her Indonesia schedule included Unfinished Prjct in Jakarta on 5 August, Bleu8 at Hotel Mulia Jakarta on 6 August, Prancing Sorrel in Malang on 7 August, and Pony in Bali on 8 August.
“Disaronno Sour Cocktail Week is more than a cocktail promotion,” said Matheus, Business Manager for Disaronno Group at PT Pelita Makmur Perkasa. “We’re proud that Indonesia initiated this movement, and to see it now embraced by neighbouring markets is a testament to the passion of everyone involved.”
The regional expansion also reinforced Disaronno’s efforts to connect with a new generation of consumers through contemporary serves and collaborations with bartenders and leading venues. As the birthplace of the initiative, Indonesia continued to play a defining role in shaping Disaronno’s presence across Asia, with the Disaronno Sour at the centre of the celebration.
