Raise a glass to creativity and charity as Negroni Week is making a comeback globally.
From 16 to 22 September 2024, the 12th annual Negroni Week will bring together cocktail enthusiasts worldwide for a celebration of mixology, storytelling and charity. This year’s event will see over 315 participating venues across Indonesia, making it one of the top 10 highest registered markets globally.
Negroni Week, a collaboration between Campari and Imbibe Magazine, aims to support the charitable partner Slow Food. In previous years, the event has raised over USD600,000, funding educational scholarships and community projects. This year’s funds will continue to support initiatives that preserve cultural diversity, promote food and beverage education, and foster equity in the hospitality industry.
A standout moment in Indonesia will be Tomasso Cecca’s appearance at Da Maria, Bali on 18 September 2024. As the Global Head of Camparino Licencing & Mixology, Tomasso will showcase his expertise with a specially crafted Negroni cocktail. Known for his role at the iconic Camparino in Galleria, Milano, Tomasso’s visit promises an exceptional experience for attendees.
The week will conclude with a grand closing party on 22 September 2024 at Desa Potato Head, Bali. The event will feature a sunset celebration combining music, art and design, encapsulating the spirit of Negroni Week.
Additionally, the Campari Red Hands campaign will highlight four renowned bartenders: Mona Gallosa (Argentina), Tiffanie Barriere (USA), Joe Schofield (UK) and Millie Tang (Australia) through short films celebrating mixology. A film competition with Soho House will further elevate the festivities.
