One of Bali’s most refined and sophisticated beach clubs, Sundara at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay offers guests a stylish mix of five-star luxury blended with addictive Balinese charm, as well as a choice of spaces to suit your mood.
Meaning beautiful in Sanskrit, Sundara spoils its guests with many ways to enjoy the beautiful golden sky, including the 57-metre beachfront pool with daybeds, as well as offering a daily happy hour with two-for-one on selected cocktails from 5pm to 7pm. More than just a luxurious place to see the sunset, Sundara is also home to the longest Sunday brunch in Bali.
From 11am to 4.30pm, guests’ palates are tempted with fine selections from the sea, the land and the field. The appetiser section is a great way to tickle your appetite with chilled seafood and sashimi, or go big with its trio of seared foie gras sliders. Moving on to mains, unlimited orders of Lombok clams, 12-hour smoked beef short ribs, homemade lamb merguez and pork ribs are the best way to enjoy your Sunday.
In addition to its longest brunch, Sundara has also relaunched its dinner concept with a new high-end barbecue menu that’s getting reviews for its unique coffee wood smokiness and melt-in-your-mouth succulence.
Inspired by the fiery sunsets and iconic beach barbecues of Jimbaran fishing village, the team at Sundara has created a whole new concept where every dish has an element of roasting, grilling or smoking, including desserts and cocktails. Using Indonesia’s only Kopa Smoke Oven – an Austrian invention, fuelled by coffee wood and renowned for its precision in smoke density and temperature control – the chefs infuse meats, seafood, sweets and plant-based dishes with a perfectly balanced smoky flavour and tenderness.
It’s a clever evolution of Sundara’s cuisine, keeping the emphasis on premium ingredients, local sourcing of all fresh produce, and authentic Asian flavours, while replacing traditional cooking methods with a modern barbecue innovation. The à la carte menu is available nightly for dinner, and served on barbecue boards that allow diners to enjoy a wide variety of dishes from the sea, land and field, all cooked-to-order and served family-style with gourmet sides. Regular Seafood Night theme dinners celebrate the freshest catch from Jimbaran Fish Markets just down the beach, while a smoky selection is also included with Bali’s Longest Sunday Brunch, afternoon high tea, and at the bar – with a new range of smoked cocktails and craft beers.
