AKASA Restaurant & Bar at Jumeirah Bali

Yukari Alaskan King Crab Salad, Salmon Tataki, Giant Blue River Prawn & Crab Rice

Since its opening, Jumeirah Bali’s AKASA Restaurant & Bar has generated significant excitement for its premium flame-grilled dishes infused with Asian influences.

AKASA’s culinary delights are matched only by its breathtaking location and ambience. Nestled on the elevated beachfront corner of the resort, the restaurant boasts panoramic views of the majestic Indian Ocean and the lush golf course, framed by floor-to-ceiling windows.

The interior design exudes timeless sophistication with a touch of understated gold, reminiscent of a royal Javanese banquet hall. The al fresco area provides a relaxed outdoor setting with front-row seats to ocean views and captivating sunsets over fire pit tables.

The menu showcases flame-grilled seafood and premium meats infused with Asian inspirations. Drawing from Balinese family-style dining, the menu encourages sharing with loved ones. Expect rich, smoky flavours typical of Bali, along with nods to Thai, Japanese and Korean cuisines. Dishes are cooked using aromatic wood-fired flames, releasing enticing scents.

Begin with the crudo selection, featuring flame-grilled tuna tartare with Timut pepper. Indulge in grilled Jimbaran prawns, charcoal wagyu beef salad and fresh oysters. Robata options include miso and yuzu salmon, fiery panca paste chicken and seared teriyaki lamb.

Seafood offerings include giant blue river prawns with mango, scallops with red bean cream, and local seabass cooked in banana leaves with coconut, turmeric and lemongrass. Meat lovers can relish corn-fed spring chicken, wagyu tenderloin with truffle and succulent lamb rack.

Enhance your meal with sides and sauces, including a customisable peppercorn sauce with options like Lampung pepper from Indonesia and Timut peppercorn from Nepal. The dessert selection rivals the main dishes, featuring pandan crème brûlée and unique French toast with ginger and sesame ice cream.

For an all-encompassing culinary journey, try the Chef’s Table experience with a set menu celebrating local and international flavours. Top off your dining with craft cocktails from the mixologist or selections from the underground wine cellar.
