Approaching the Year of the Horse, Jumeirah Bali celebrates Lunar New Year through a selection of special dining experiences, curated wellness offerings, and a collaboration that highlights Chinese artistry.
The Lunar New Year can mean different things for different people. Some use this time as a moment to rekindle family bonds through a multitude of traditions that involve the dining table. For others, it’s about restoration, seeking luck and auspiciousness in health, wealth, and success for the next twelve lunar cycles. At Jumeirah Bali, celebrants can get all that in one place with the resort’s offerings of A Harmonious Lunar Season.
As per Chinese tradition, the festivities start with a lavish dinner on New Year’s Eve. On 16 February 2026, Segaran Dining Terrace opens its doors for Harmony of Flavours, where guests can gather around a spread of Lunar New Year staples, including a vibrant Yee Sang, soundtracked by the tingle of traditional live music. The scrumptious celebrations continue to the next day, when breakfast, complete with a Chinese speciality corner, arrives alongside a lively lion dance performance, believed to chase away bad spirits. Come lunch and dinner, guests can indulge in a lunar-inspired à la carte menu and seafood platters. Though the lion dance will not make a return, the dining experience can still be enjoyed until 18 February.
If guests are looking for more introspective moments this Lunar New Year, they can visit Talise Spa. Especially designed for this momentous holiday, Harmony of Balance and Clarity becomes a gateway to bliss through a medley of Balinese acupressure massage and the choice of an express facial or body scrub.
Beyond these moments, Jumeirah Bali also uses this time to highlight Chinese culture and craftsmanship. In a collaboration with paper artist Jackie Wen, known for her penchant for visual storytelling through skilful artistry, the resort offers meticulously designed red envelopes and gift boxes for celebrants who wish to share the joy of this holiday with their loved ones.
