The Thai outpost of Ennismore’s most fashion-forward hotel translates the lunar festival with style, collaborating with VINN PATARARIN for a decorative box of mooncakes.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that one of Bangkok’s most stylish hotels, SO/ Bangkok, is celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with panache and a trendy flair. The Ennismore address partnered with renowned multi-disciplinary Thai label VINN PATARARIN for its mooncake collection this year, A Lantern of Celebration.
Inspired by the traditional lanterns flown during the holiday, the treats are packaged in a sleek octagonal box bearing VINN PATARARIN’s recognisable stylised diamond cutouts and gold detailing for an elegant flair. The result is a sculptural piece that epitomises design, craftsmanship, and celebration, allowing it to function as a decorative centrepiece to the togetherness embraced by the festival.

This year’s collaboration with VINN PATARARIN reflects our shared passion for innovative design and thoughtful craftsmanship, transforming a traditional gift into an object that guests can continue to cherish long after the celebration,” said Adrien-Michel Marie, General Manager.
One can fill the box with flavours of their own choosing. Among the classics are Lotus Seeds and Melon Seeds with Salted Egg Yolk, Durian and White Lotus Seeds with Salted Egg Yolk, and Green Tea and Black Sesame. There’s also the exclusive Custard variant, as well as Chocolab’s Signature Chocolate and Lotus Seeds. The mooncakes are available for pre-orders now, with pick-ups starting 9 September 2026 at Chocolab.
