Found amidst the bustling metropolis, White Shades is Singapore’s only four-storey modern cocktail and dining playground. Recently opened last year, the bar finally unveiled the first full spectrum of its cocktail offerings with a special menu called Colours. Divided into four themes: Clear, Mark, Mood and Flavours, the menu features 22 drinks that have been created by the founder, Jiawei Bei and his team.
Each drink is unique, depending on its colour. For instance, there are five clarified cocktails available in the Clear section, including Clear Yellow, which is made with Maker’s Mark bourbon, sweet corn and milk-washed mango corn leather. The Flavours section will affect people’s perceptions of the tastes of different hues. Sparkling Pearl is a Champagne-based cocktail with pickled onion, fruits and herbs, exuding the taste reminiscing of the sea.
In addition to the newly created cocktails, guests are welcome to savour epicurean delights spread over four floors. The culinary team has prepared new dishes that are packed with flavours. Moreover, level 1 is now serving lunch every day from 11am to 3pm with a lunch set menu available.
