Padma Resort Legian invites guests to discover Bali from an entirely new perspective with the launch of its Bali Heritage Afternoon Tea, an immersive culinary experience inspired by the island’s diverse landscapes, cultural traditions, and locally sourced ingredients. More than a classic afternoon tea, the new offering presents a gastronomic journey across Bali, where every sweet and savoury creation tells the story of a different region.
Served on a bespoke tray shaped like the island of Bali, the afternoon tea features ten handcrafted delicacies that celebrate the destination’s culinary identity. Among the highlights is the Bedugul Strawberry Delight, showcasing strawberries from Bali’s cool highlands, alongside the Piña Colada Mille-Feuille, a refined pastry combining crisp puff layers with locally sourced pineapple cream as a tribute to the island’s tropical abundance.
The savoury selection draws inspiration from Bali’s celebrated base, the traditional spice pastes that form the foundation of many local dishes. The Denpasar Snapper Satay pairs fresh snapper with aromatic Balinese spices and vibrant sambal matah, while the Gianyar Chicken Quiche reinterprets traditional Balinese flavours through classic French pastry techniques, creating a harmonious blend of local heritage and international craftsmanship.
Complementing the menu is a thoughtfully curated beverage programme featuring Padma Resort Legian’s signature homemade tea blends, including Chrysanberry, Pale Ruby, and Purple Velvet. Guests may also explore refreshing drinks inspired by the Indonesian archipelago, such as the Loloh Don Kayu Manis Refresher, Es Bir Singaraja, Telang Spritz, and Coconut & Pandan Cooler, alongside contemporary cocktails celebrating beloved local ingredients.
