Drawing inspiration from the qualities that make the brand great, Benriach Distillery presents an outstanding flavour-forward Single Malt portfolio, enhanced by a fresh look.

Dating back to 1898, Benriach Distillery was established by founder John Duff in Speyside, the Scottish region known as the home of the world’s leading distilleries. Among more than 60 distilleries in Speyside, Benriach is one of two that still practice traditional floor malting on-site, and is known in particular for distilling three variants of whisky: classic unpeated, Highland peated and triple distilled. As the cherry on top, Benriach also takes pride in its expansive and eclectic array of curated casks from around the world.

After more than 120 years of excellence, the distillery has introduced a revamped look to the brand’s outstanding flavour-forward portfolio. With a new face inspired by the Benriach’s creative heritage and Speyside’s natural environment, Master Blender Dr Rachel Barrie led the team to artistically craft the portfolio, highlighting the diversity and versatility of the distillery’s bountiful orchard and offering elaborate hues and flavours.

Dr Barrie explains that the newer range perfectly marries tradition and innovation, which are central to Benriach’s story. “Inspired by the 1994 bottling of the Original Ten, with its fruit-laden complexity and smooth, rounded taste, the new range re-imagines the 1898 origins of Benriach, brought to life in the 21st century through fusing distilling styles with extraordinary casks.”

“In the new Original Ten, a more richly flavoured, rounded malt character might be discerned, whilst The Twelve balances richly sherried malt with added layers of fruit complexity, reaching a pinnacle at 12 years old. The new Smoky Ten and Smoky Twelve explore the sweet smokiness of Benriach, enriched through innovative combinations of rum, virgin oak and marsala casks interwoven with more traditional bourbon and sherry,” Dr Barrie continues.

“The new Benriach range is for those open to new possibilities, building on a wealth of experience and tradition. I invite the drinker to join me on this creative journey, as we explore the rich rewards of Single Malt whisky.”

The new Benriach portfolio is lined up with more flavours and features that will make whisky connoisseurs gleeful. Long-time followers can enjoy the new recipe for Benriach’s richly sherried 12-year-old whisky with interwoven port and bourbon casks, included in the Core Range, in addition to the Original Ten.

There is also the premium selection of Twenty-One, Twenty Five and Thirty Year Old Single Malts, showcasing rare qualities resulting from a longer period of maturation in diverse oak casks. Keep an eye on the limited-edition Malting Season expression, crafted to celebrate the traditional floor malting on-site method. The aforementioned are just the tip of Benriach’s new portfolio’s greatness, with more products, programmes and facilities to discover. Benriach is available in Indonesia and imported exclusively by PT Pancaniaga Indoperkasa.
