Chef Walles’ journey in the kitchen started more than 15 years ago in the thriving Sri Lankan culinary scene. His journey into the world of flavours commenced at the esteemed Hilton Colombo, where he honed his skills and unleashed his passion for cooking. From there, his path led him to the pristine shores of the Maldives, where he embarked on a decade-long adventure across luxury resorts, including Huvafen Fushi, Finolhu, LUX* South Ari Atoll, Velaa Private Island, Soneva Fushi and Patina Maldives.
Before gracing the kitchens of Alila Villas Uluwatu, Chef Walles dazzled diners at Six Senses Zighy Bay as executive sous chef and acting executive chef, where he masterfully curated culinary experiences that celebrated the region’s rich gastronomic heritage.
