The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, continues its cultural dining series with a soulful celebration of Sulawesi’s coastal richness and highland heritage. This event features a collaborative menu by Chef Raviel Sidik and Chef Glenn Erari at Ikan Restaurant from 15 to 17 August 2025.
This August, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, invites guests to embark on another chapter of its celebrated culinary series, Travelogues of the Archipelago. Over three delightful evenings, guests will indulge in a culinary exploration reminiscent of this culturally rich region, known for its bold flavours and deep heritage.
Following the intimate storytelling of Home by Wayan and the fiery Sumatran feast curated by Chef Norman Ismail, Chapter 3 journeys eastward to embrace the vibrant spirit of Sulawesi. With the sea breeze gently rolling in and the golden hour casting its warm light, this three-night dining affair transcends a typical meal; it’s an exploration of identity, legacy, and connection through food.
Chef Raviel Sidik, the culinary heart behind Ikan Restaurant, collaborates with Chef Glenn Erari, Executive Chef of SEMAJA, to create a menu honouring Sulawesi’s distinct culinary regions. Guests can look forward to traditional ancestral dishes, elevated interpretations of beloved street food, and a rare opportunity to taste arak Cap Tikus, a traditional Manado spirit distilled from sap and steeped in local lore.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Indian Ocean, the event begins each evening at 5.30pm, inviting diners to slow down, savour and connect over flavours that have transcended generations. Each dish tells a story of highland rituals, coastal bounty and the people who keep these traditions alive through their kitchens.
With each chapter, Travelogues of the Archipelago continues to celebrate Indonesia’s culinary diversity, bringing regional soul to the shores of Bali and offering guests a memorable way to experience the depth of the nation’s flavours.
