Celebrating its seventh anniversary, MAURI is serving up a seven-course dinner shaped by Chef-Owner Maurizio Bombini’s journey throughout the years.
A lot can happen in seven years. One can get through medical or law school, the four iconic Beatles came and went, and an Italian restaurant in Seminyak can blossom into one of the neighbourhood’s most respected. The latter is the case of MAURI, which is celebrating its seventh anniversary on 27-28 November 2025 with a special set dinner personally designed by Chef-Owner Maurizio Bombini.
Spanning seven courses, each dish in this surprise menu will retrace the restaurant’s journey since 2018 while staying true to its penchant for teetering the line between culinary traditions and evolutionary reinterpretations. Beyond thoughtfully crafted food on a plate, each serving is a piece of MAURI’s story, which will unfold through the unique, intimate way they are presented; one of them sees explanations printed on the iconic focaccia paper.
“Seven years is not just a number for us. It is a collection of moments, people, challenges, and gratitude that shaped who we are today,” shared Chef Maurizio Bombini. “This menu is my way of saying thank you. Every dish tells a piece of our story.”
That sentiment is made evident through Le Radici and Sette Elementi, two dishes that sandwich other yet-to-be-revealed courses, all of which nod to the chef’s Pugliese heritage, something MAURI takes pride in. With Chef Maurizio infusing a truly personal touch to the warmth of the restaurant’s signature Italian hospitality, the evening will be a truly special experience for diners.
