Timeless Arak is a collection of infused arak cocktails given added texture and flavour by relevant spices and fruit. From the Ancient Era try the very refreshing Lemo Kuna made with arak, makrut lime syrup, lime juice and kalamansi.
From the Spanish and Portuguese, port and wine-based concoctions feature, such as the Ginjinha Bold, while from the Dutch era, brandy and gin result in cocktails like Jayawikarta Smash and the fabulous Nutmeg Bender.
Last, but by no means least, Merdeka! showcases post-independence cocktails as varied as Indonesia itself. Signatures include Evolusi Nusantara, a combination of mango-infused arak and camomile-infused gin with lychee, passion fruit, yoghurt and lemon. Beautifully presented, it is a stunning display of the wonders of the archipelago.
