The Asian Food Channel recently brought Roger Mooking, the star of Man Fire Food, which is currently airing on the channel, to Indonesia to host a couple of intimate dinner events. Having earned a reputation as one of Canada’s premier chefs, Mooking has developed a culinary philosophy built on the perfect execution of globally inspired culinary traditions.
Mooking hosted two dinner events on Sunday, 13th September and Monday, 14th September at the trendy BLUEGRASS Bar & Grill Jakarta with a hearty five-course dinner featuring unique pairings of Asian and Western flavours. Guests were indulged with mouth-watering dishes such as steamed duck egg with king oyster mushroom, sesame oil and razor herbs, beef tenderloin with black bean shrimp and broccoli dust, and to end the dinner on a sweet note, a delicious mango lassi ice cream with honey rosewater, pistachio and Indian puffed rice.
