Hendrick’s Gin introduces its first permanent addition in nine years, combining orange blossom and cacao to expand its signature flavour profile.
Hendrick’s Gin introduces Another Hendrick’s, its first new permanent expression in nine years. The release expands the brand’s range while keeping its core identity intact, highlighting unusual flavour combinations built on a classic gin base.
Created by Master Distiller Lesley Gracie, the new expression explores a less common ingredient in gin: cacao. The idea came from her interest in combining chocolate notes with floral elements. The result is a spirit that still carries Hendrick’s signature rose and cucumber profile, but adds orange blossom for brightness and cacao for a smoother, slightly richer finish.
On the nose, Another Hendrick’s presents a clear juniper character, supported by light citrus from orange blossom and a subtle sweetness. On the palate, the familiar Hendrick’s style remains, but the cacao adds a rounder texture. The citrus elements keep it from feeling heavy, resulting in a balanced and clean finish.
This launch reflects a shift in direction for the brand. Gracie describes it as different from what Hendrick’s has done over the past 25 years, but still connected to its experimental approach. Much of the development was influenced by the botanicals found in the Hendrick’s Gin Palace greenhouse, where different flavour combinations were tested to achieve the final profile.

From a brand perspective, Another Hendrick’s is positioned as more than just an additional variant. The release is intended to broaden the brand’s appeal and keep it relevant in a competitive premium spirits market. It also marks the first time a Hendrick’s innovation is launched globally across all markets at once.
The new expression is designed to work well in cocktails. One of the key serves is the Another Hendrick’s Spritz, introduced by Global Brand Ambassador Charmaine Thio. The drink mixes the gin with apple juice, prosecco, soda, and a small amount of cherry liqueur. It is typically garnished with cucumber, a cherry, and lemon peel. The combination highlights the citrus and cacao notes without overpowering the base spirit.
Overall, Another Hendrick’s keeps the brand’s core elements but adds a different layer through cacao and orange blossom. It offers a new option for consumers who are already familiar with Hendrick’s, while also aiming to attract new drinkers looking for something slightly different from traditional gin profiles.
