Coveted restaurant Tom’s by Tom Aikens at the ultra-luxurious The Langham, Jakarta recently launched new dining experiences to offer the discerning diners.
The famed Tom’s by Tom Aikens introduced its Sunday Roast dining programme, which offered to amp up your weekend feast. The highly styled Sunday Roast sees glorious starters, including foie gras and chicken liver parfait with grape chutney and French brioche, treacle-cured salmon with homemade dill ricotta and smoked potatoes, as well as yellowtail ceviche with pickled cucumber and agave.
The Gueridon trolley service caters premium meat carvings right to your table, serving juicy cuts like the prime rib roast, rack of lamb, rotisserie chicken and Chilean seabass, along with fresh garnishes and accompaniments. To wrap up the Sunday culinary soiree, diners can find British-styled desserts, such as pistachio frangipane, vanilla cheesecake with raspberry and apple almond tart.
The Sunday Roast is available at IDR688,000++ per person for the main dining hall table and IDR888,000++ per person for a table by the window, inclusive of a complimentary welcome drink from the restaurant’s signature cocktail trolley.
The namesake mastermind behind the restaurant, Tom Aikens, has also launched the New Gourmet Indulgence, available from Monday to Saturday for lunch from 12pm to 3pm, and on weekends for dinner from 6pm to 10pm.
Satiate your appetite with new signature dishes comprising wagyu truffle slider, oyster citrus and champagne, clam chowder, lamb mulligatawyny and cioppino. Pasta dishes come in lamb ragu, mushroom and truffle, or lobster and uni, while pizza selection comes in a white and red base.
The highlight of the menu is the wood-fire grilled main dishes, like the 45-day Himalayan salt dry-aged USDA prime or black Angus and wagyu beef, served with spectacular sides like the lobster mac and cheese.
