Easter Comes Alive at Karma Kandara

Easter Comes Alive at Karma Kandara

From fire dances and seafood feasts to movie nights and magic shows, this is no ordinary holiday. Karma Kandara turns tradition into tropical celebration.

Spring has arrived, and with it, the highly anticipated Easter Festival at Karma Kandara from 17-22 April 2025. Over six days, guests are invited to embrace the season with a vibrant line-up of festivities, combining family-friendly fun, indulgent dining and lively entertainment. From themed beach parties with international DJs to sunset cocktails and soothing spa experiences, it’s a celebration designed for all ages. Little ones can look forward to Easter egg hunts, magic shows and playful surprises while adults unwind in one of Bali’s most stunning cliffside settings.

Kicking off on 17 April, the Easter celebrations start strong with lively DJ sets from midday, creating the perfect laid-back beach vibe. As the sun sets, guests can go to Temple Lounge for an enchanting Balinese dance performance starring none other than Hanoman—the mischievous monkey king from the Ramayana. The energy continues into Good Friday on 18 April, where di Mare hosts an exquisite seafood celebration highlighting the best of Bali’s ocean harvest, perfectly complemented by the day’s signature cocktail.

As the weekend unfolds, 19 April invites guests to a moonlit communal dinner at Karma Beach, inspired by Jerusalem’s rich flavours. The evening begins with sunset canapés and free-flow Karma Wine before transitioning into a vibrant family-style feast under the stars with live music and fire dancing. On 20 April, Easter Sunday takes centre stage with a lavish jazz brunch at di Mare, where guests can indulge in a generous spread of hot and chilled dishes, artisanal sharing plates, and carving station favourites from noon to 4pm. Before brunch kicks off, the little ones can head to the Kids Club for a fun-filled morning featuring a special visit from the Easter Bunny, an exciting egg hunt, and a magical show to keep the energy high.

The final stretch of the festivities wraps up with a beachside movie night on 21 April. Families are invited to Karma Beach for an open-air screening of HOP at 6:30pm—an egg-stra special evening filled with laughter and seaside charm. As the sun sets, guests can sink into loungers under the stars while kids enjoy classic movie snacks like toasted marshmallows, popcorn, and cotton candy. On 22 April, the Easter week wraps up with a flavourful finale at Karma Beach, a Mixed Asian Beach BBQ that promises a night of delicious bites and good vibes. At 5:45pm, guests can enjoy sunset canapés and free-flowing Karma Wine before gathering for a communal surfside dining experience featuring a sizzling selection of grilled dishes.

Adding a unique twist to the holiday, the resort will also unveil a different Easter cocktail each day, thoughtfully crafted to reflect the flavour and energy of each event. For example, guests can sip on the tropical-spicy Golden Tide on 17 April, a bold blend of coconut-washed rum, Campari, passionfruit and chilli honey. The next day, they can enjoy the fragrant Sacred Spirits on 18 April, made with mango-infused Bali arak, white rum, pandan coconut nectar and calamansi. With more creative concoctions served throughout the week, each day brings something new to toast.

During the festive period, guests can join yoga classes or Muay Thai sessions at the Spa Lounge and Mentari Rooftop. For those looking for more activities, Karma Beach and the Kids Club offer plenty of fun, including Easter egg hunts and crab and shell hunting. Children can also participate in lunch and movie sessions, canvas painting, face painting, hula hoop competitions, Balinese dress-ups and more. For a more relaxing experience, guests can explore a daily rotation of spa programmes, with different treatments offered each day throughout the holiday celebrations.
